WHAT IS POLY-CYSTIC OVARIAN SYNDROME

 A hormonal condition that affects women between the ages of 15 to 44. women with PCOS typically   have multiple cysts in their ovaries caused by an overproduction of hormones called androgen.

 Some studies link PCOS to family history, obesity, etc. but that exact cause is still unknown

WHAT ARE THE  SYMPTOMS ?

Irregular menses :

Some women might not get their periods for several months while others might bleed excessively

Hair Loss:

Hair loss and thinning hair is the most common symptom

Hair growth in unwanted areas:

Also known as hirsute, women start growing unwanted hair at places such as the face and chin.

Changes Skin:

Women complain of pimples and oily skin and breakouts mainly on the face and upper back.

Insulin Resistance :
